Tier III Desktop Engineer
Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Tier III Desktop Engineer to join our team to provide Level III support and lead enterprise device management and support.

Office Schedule: M-TH office based, Fridays remote.  On call rotation every 5 weeks.


Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Tier III Desktop Engineer to join our team to provide Level III support and lead enterprise device management and support.  This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise in Intune, desktop engineering, and web-based phone systems, who also brings a positive, team-oriented mindset and leadership qualities. The position serves as an escalation point and informal team lead, with opportunities for growth and mentorship.

 

Responsibilities:

Lead desktop engineering efforts, including remote device management and application deployment via Microsoft Intune.Manage and support mobile devices and telephony systems (CXOne).Deploy scripts and automation for device configuration and maintenance.Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for Tier I/II support.Handle tickets using FreshService and ensure timely resolution.Autopilot and deploy computers across enterprise environments.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve IT operations and user experience.Participate in on-call rotation (every 5 weeks, includes weekends; remote work during rotation).

 

Skills and Experience Required:

5–10 years of relevant IT experience (Tier III level).Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Intune in an enterprise setting highly preferred.Strong background in desktop engineering, scripting, and remote device management.Familiarity with FreshService or similar ticketing system and CXOne or similar web-based phone systems.Proven ability to adapt quickly, learn on the fly, and mentor others.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; reliable and punctual.Experience deploying and managing devices remotely across multiple locations.MD-102: Endpoint Administrator certification (preferred but not required).Experience with enterprise-level device deployment and automation.Leadership or team lead experience in a technical support environment.

 

Work Schedule and Environment:

First 90 days: Onsite 5 days/week.Post-90 days: Onsite Monday–Thursday, remote on Fridays.On-call rotation: Every 5 weeks, full remote during rotation.Travel: May be required to visit remote sites once/year.
