JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assigning, monitoring, and reviewing the daily tasks completed by the Tienda Perfecta field associates. Additional responsibilities include coaching, teaching, and training Tienda Perfecta field associates while remaining flexible to meet the needs of our customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work collaboratively with the Manager of Space Management & Store Assortment. Review tasks performed by the Tienda Perfecta field associates. Evaluate progress against objectives by verifying each schematic packet for completeness and schematic compliance in every assigned location. Report issues to the appropriate departments while keeping the Director of Space Management & Store Assortment informed. Visit two to four stores per week, which requires traveling by car to various locations and could require air travel in the future. Regularly seek feedback from Store Team Leaders and Senior Assistant Managers regarding the team’s performance. Keep proper records of daily tasks. Assist with updating Merchandising Layouts or performing surveys as needed. In a safe manner, following all company guidelines. Collaborate on special projects, typically at the direction of the Director of Space Management & Store Assortment or the Director of Center Store including the Merchandising of Store Resets, Remodels, and New Stores. Oversee and assist with testing schematics at store level. Train Tienda Perfecta merchandisers how to read and implement schematics. Track attendance, regularly review timecards for the Field Merchandisers, and approve payroll weekly. Manage requests for time away from work submitted by the Field Merchandisers. Assume the responsibility of running Fair Share billing for the program, which is currently performed on a quarterly basis (once every three months), and could be revised to different cadence in the future. Perform any other work-related duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS AND CONDITIONS:
Education/Experience/Skills
Candidates must have a High School diploma or general education degree (GED); some college or continued education is preferred. Retail Management Certificate is desirable. Minimum five years of in-store work experience, Merchandising and/or Corporate Store Support Center experience is preferred. Computer literate including but not limited to; Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language (Spanish is helpful but not required). Ability to compose and write reports and business correspondence. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations. Ability to adapt to changing demands, priorities, circumstances, and directions. Ability to effectively respond to customer needs. Must have a valid driver’s license.Physical Demands and Conditions
