THE ROLE

The Ticket Fulfillment Associate is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing and distributing tickets for guests visiting View Boston. This role ensures a seamless ticketing experience, maintains inventory accuracy, and provides exceptional customer service to enhance the overall guest experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet guests and offer detailed pricing and ticket options.Process ticket orders quickly and accurately using the ticketing system (online, on-site kiosks, and at the guest service desk).Distributes pre-purchased tickets, group reservations, and event admission.Assist guests with ticket related inquiries, including upgrades, exchanges, and troubleshooting issues.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of View Boston offerings, events, pricing, and promotions.Inform guests of events, closings, restrictions, and any other information necessary to make informed buying decision.Accurately reconcile ticket inventory, sales, and payments at the beginning and end of each shift.Provide support for the Group Sales teams with ticket distribution at the Guest Services desk for group visits and special events.Ensure proper handling and secure storage of tickets, cash, and other forms of payment in compliance with View Boston policies.Communicate any ticketing issues, system errors, or guest complaints to the management team promptly.Operate a point-of-sale (POS) ticketing system, compute receipt totals and accurately deliver to guests. Assist guests with kiosk operation as needed.Handle cash, convert vouchers and/or credit card transactions, make change and issue receipts, valid tickets to guests.Accept and verify opening bank, process cash/credit cards from guests and record end of day receipts, prepare deposits for bank and validate deposit against ticketing system reports.Maintain a clear, organized, and welcoming ticket fulfillment area.Uphold View Boston’s commitment to always providing premium guest experience.Follow directions and be a “team” player.Perform other duties as assigned by View Boston Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE     

1-2 years’ experience in ticketing, retail, or customer service preferred. 1-2 years’ cash handling experience preferred. Multi-lingual and sign language capabilities are preferred.High school diploma or GED.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume transactions accurately. Comfortable using ticketing systems, point-of-sale systems, and basic office software. Excellent communication skills and guest-first attitude. Ability to demonstrate professionalism and customer service – excellent interpersonal skills required. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift to 25lbs.
