We are seeking a Threat Systems Analyst who will apply Radio Frequency (RF) emissions and collection expertise to assist with RF collection and post-fielding testing activities. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a self-starter who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong organizational skills, and has the ability to work / execute multiple tasks simultaneously. You will perform hands on repair and maintenance of high-power RF systems including the use of test equipment at onsite and at remote locations. You will need to troubleshoot system faults, perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment with minimal supervision or direction. You will have the opportunity to evaluate designs and equipment prototypes during the initial development phases through testing.
Responsibilities
Develop systems to support the MDO range activities at CONUS and OCONUS US Army test and training ranges.Prepare technical requirements for system to support operational testing.Develop or evaluate technical proposals or documentation such as test plans, scenarios and capability statements to support system development.Coordinate with internal and external teams to define objectives and requirements.Participate in technical and provisioning working groupsPerform threat system troubleshooting and maintenance as required.Become efficient operating threat systems through on-the-job training.Perform general motor vehicle maintenance and repairs as required.Maintain a working facility and adhere to organizational and cleanliness standards.Support test range coordination efforts to include obtaining approvals for operations.Required
BS or BA in related field5 years of experience with a focus on DoD and military applicationsProficiency with Microsoft OfficeWorking knowledge of troubleshooting utilizing tools/equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.Good understanding of RF emissions and collection.Availability for up to 30% travelMust have a DoD Top Secret security clearanceDesired
