Job Summary Novant Health Cancer Institute Thoracic Surgeon (Charlotte, NC) Novant Health Cancer Institute is seeking a Full-time Thoracic Surgeon to join their team in Charlotte, NC. Opportunity Highlights: + Established, integrated cancer center located in beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina + The Thoracic program includes lung cancer screening, a lung nodule clinic, and multidisciplinary care involving surgery, radiation, and medical oncology. + Team of 6 Providers: 4 physicians & 2 APPs + Our comprehensive cancer program is designed to promote disease sub-specialization and foster collaborative, team-based care. + The role offers the opportunity to participate in clinical research. + Teaching opportunities available through our clinical affiliation with UNC-Chapel Hill, working with UNC medical students + Engage in a weekly multi-disciplinary cancer conference to support patient-centered care + Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support available in both the clinic and operating room + Call duties are shared with the Cardio-Thoracic Team, rotating every 5-6 weeks. + The Charlotte Region is a division of Novant Health Cancer Institute. The institute includes over 100 specialists in 30+ locations across the state of NC.
