Build relationships with senior leaders, partner and effectively challenge key 1LOD teams inclusive of Third-Party Risk Operations Function, Sourcing and Procure to Pay. Partner and provide third party guidance to other 2LOD peer risk programs inclusive of policy reviews and ensuring the programs are in synch where overlap exists. Design and execute points of view, aide in design of Key Risk Indicators and other oversight related metrics and support regulatory requests related to third party. The role provides the proactive identification, assessment, management, monitoring and reporting Third Party Risk, and promotes a culture of effective Third-Party Risk Management practices across the entire corporation. **LOCATION:** Please note that candidate must be located in *or* willing to self-relocate to one of the following locations: + **Charlotte, NC** + **Raleigh, NC** + **Winston Salem, NC** Truist 'in office' requirement is **4 days** per week. No full remote or relocation assistance available at this time. Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Provides independent risk oversight (i.e. 2LOD) for Third Party Risk Management ecosystem and related consult to Truist Business Units through the effective identification, mitigation, monitoring and reporting of TPRM risk and other related risks (e.g., technology, operational, compliance) within the TPRM team (part of the Operational Risk Management function). 2. Serve as a subject matter expert and steward of the Third-Party Risk Framework to identify, report and mitigate outsourcing risks. 3. Execute independent assessment and oversight of the maturity of TPRM related processes and adequacy of controls to achieve business outcomes for performance, stability, security and service availability. 4. Develop, implement, maintain, and produce Third Party Risk data aggregation and reporting for multiple audiences, including Business Unit Management, Executive Leadership, and the Board of Directors, to provide visibility into the third-party risk profile of the Corporation, including inherent risk, risk management/control effectiveness, residual risk, risk monitoring, emerging risks, and aggregate risk. 5. Strengthen and sustains proactive risk culture through conducting effective risk focused management and partnership routines with TPRM 1LOD teams and internal 2LOD partners. 6. Monitor legal, regulatory, compliance and audit matters for assigned TPRM oversight area and ensures timely action. 7. Contribute to complex projects which may have both third party and enterprise-wide impact beyond risk management. 8. Comfortable and has demonstrated effectiveness in interdisciplinary, matrix environments. 9. Serve as a subject matter expert, resource and mentor to teammates. **Required Qualifications:** The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Twelve years of banking, technology, operations or direct third-party risk management experience. 3. Ability to work independently with minimal direction and guidance. 4. Proven leadership and decision-making skills. 5. Strong analytical and organizational skills, and extensive experience designing, developing, implementing, and executing risk oversight programs or initiatives. 6. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with multiple stakeholders, interact effectively with all levels of management, and effect and influence change in a dynamic environment. 7. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present issues, observations, and recommendations. Demonstrated effective influencing skills. 8. Adept with Microsoft Office products. **Preferred Qualifications:** 1. Familiarity with risk measurement approaches including development of Key Risk Indicators and thresholds and associated reporting and analytics tools (e.g. Tableau). 2. Familiarity with enterprise Governance Risk and Compliance (eGRC) platforms and tools (e.g., RSA Archer). 3.
