The Third Party Risk Analyst is responsible for assisting in the management of risks related to third-party firms and vendors and monitoring compliance of risk management processes. Additionally, you will be fully knowledgeable on the day to day activities of a product or process and provide assistance on complex business issues. Primary responsibilities include
This individual will execute Third Party Vendor Assessment reviews, which will include:Evaluate the adequacy of third-party controls and/or compliance management systems.Conduct testing to assess the effectiveness of third-party controls and/or processes.Evaluate and monitor third-party vendors for cybersecurity risks, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.Conduct risk assessments and due diligence reviews on new and existing vendors, focusing on data protection, access controls, and incident response capabilities.Track and report on risk mitigation efforts, escalating critical issues to senior leadership as needed.Maintain a current understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory developments impacting third-party risk.Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
Required QualificationsHigh School Graduate/GEDPreferred QualificationsRisk/Project management experienceCISA, CRISC, CIA, CompTIAAbility to appropriately manage multiple assessments and related activities.Demonstrates strong verbal and written communications amongst various internal and external stakeholders.Strong analytical skills to identify and classify inherent and residual risks.Drafts clear and detailed workpapers and reports.Experience in financial services organization, particularly in Risk, Audit, Compliance, Cyber or Third-Party RiskProficient use of Microsoft Word and Microsoft ExcelHours & Work Schedule
