What You’ll Do: At Owens: + Complete the Caterpillar curriculum at Owens Community College. + Maintain a strong GPA and graduate successfully. + Represent Ohio CAT professionally on campus. In the Shop: + Train under experienced mentors. + Perform real-world diesel repair and maintenance tasks. + Progress to more advanced assignments over time. What We’re Looking For: + High school diploma or equivalent (required before program start). + Basic diesel knowledge or mechanical aptitude + Strong communication and teamwork skills. + Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to follow safety protocols and use necessary equipment. + Comfortable using computers and diagnostic tools. Physical Requirements: + Lift/carry up to 40 lbs; pull up to 50 lbs. + Stand, sit, climb stairs, and enter/exit machinery. + Frequent hand/wrist/finger movement. + Work environments range from quiet offices to loud shop environments.
