Reporting to the Supervisor of the Thin Film Department, the student will use skills obtained through college and on the job training to set up and operate Thin Film EB chambers. During this 4 months, the student will also be maintaining specifications outlined in the operation sheets, ensuring that operation is efficient, safe and that product quality is achieved.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Operating vacuum coating machines for the application of single, multi-layer coatings
+ Inspecting and cleaning of optical components
+ Preparing, cleaning and loading of coating chambers
+ Performing metrology measurement, such as transmission, reflection and elipsometry
+ Share in the commitment towards a positive workplace culture
+ Collaborate with Engineering team and perform R&D work
+ Good finger dexterity and neat, organized work habits
+ Computer skills essential
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma - Grade 12
+ Completion of one year College in related field
+ Ability to be organized, self-motivated, dependable, and work well with others in a multi-tasking environment
+ Demonstrated ability to follow rules and regulations, complying with all Environmental, Health, & Safety Organizational Directives and Instructions and all other Site Directives and Company Policies
