What you'll do…
Lead a team of engineers responsible for the design, development, and implementation of vehicle thermal systems (Cooling and Climate Control Commodities). Lead overall program execution, ensuring discipline to the process, sign-offs, and documentation to meet all quality and functional requirements. Point of view owner on the application, content, and overall system functionality Proactively address issues, leading root cause analysis, definition of corrective actions, and implementation. Utilization of Global 8D and other quality tools to communicate status. Lead trade-off discussion with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment through proper engineering reviews and decision forums. Primary interface with the program, CNE, and cross functional teams Leverage core SME’s throughout the program to ensure robust / consistent sign-off of requirements. Own total program quality, inclusive of forward model and current / past models Lead the industrialization and launch of Thermal Systems components, aggressively managing AIMS and CR’s with a zero-defect mentality Manage total program cost, assumptions, and overall design efficiency.
