Job Summary
This role is responsible for leading multiple project teams consisting of mechanical hardware engineers and internal/outsourced development partners. The role manages headcount, resources, schedules, and costs across multiple ongoing projects, and builds relationships with development partners. The role brings domain-specific expertise, providing leadership and mechanical/thermal perspective to cross-organization projects. The role evaluates designs for compliance with technology and drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects.

Knowledge & Skills
Experience with fan, heat pipe, and vapor chamber designExperience relating skin temperature, fan control algorithm, acoustics, and system Performance.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Experience using various thermal interface materials.Designing sheet metal and plastic parts and associated production tooling and processes.Using CFD and thermal mockups to validate thermal solution.Proficiency in using ProEngineer or other 3D CAD software for thermal/mechanical design.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.
