Apply today! **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Director of Therapy Services is responsible for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the hospital and PT, OT and ST services lines. This includes patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The Director has the authority to make decisions on these departments in the areas of patient care, education, human resource, and financial management. **What you will do in this role:** + Plan, direct, and supervise the staff of the programs in the center. + Develop short- and long-term goals and objectives in consultation with administration and consistent with hospital philosophy. + Plan, organize, coordinate, and direct all patient care and non-patient care functions within the department to achieve objectives and comply with regulatory requirements. + Establish and implement policies and procedures, standards of performance, and quality assurance program consistent with and complementary to that of the hospital. + Oversee the complete scope of operations for all rehabilitation services across the hospital’s continuum of care. + Collaborate with program directors, rehab managers, and supervisors to ensure development, promotion, and maintenance of rehabilitation and specialty programs across the continuum of care. + Maintain fiscal viability of services within departments. + Monitor compliance with regulatory agencies and hospital policies. + Assure the department delivers quality services in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and professional standards. + Manage human resources to assure quality services and promote positive employee relations. + Effectively communicate departmental, organization, and industry information to staff. + Attend all required Safety Training programs and understand responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, specific job-related hazards. + Promote effective working relations and work effectively as part of a department/unit team inter-and intradepartmentally to facilitate the department's/unit's ability to meet its goals and objectives. **What qualifications you will need:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required. + Current Tennessee State Physical Therapy License required. + Current BLS CPR certification required. + 5 years of clinical experience preferred. + Demonstrated clinical competence in Acute and Outpatient therapy required. + Demonstrated leadership ability and potential managerial competency, including effective communication, people, problem solving, conflict resolution, and organizational skills required.
