**The Opportunity**
As a Heart Failure **Therapy Development Specialist** you will be responsible for support our clients in North Poland. This is a field-based role requiring travelling across the assigned area on a daily basis (up to 70%). The position will report directly to the Country Sales Manager, Poland.
The ideal candidates location would be Gdansk or Poznan.
**Main purpose of the job:**
The Heart Failure Therapy Development Specialist is responsible for providing accurate and timely technical information, advice, and assistance regarding the organization's products and services before, during, and after a transaction to maintain and improve the organization's customer relationships
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Evaluates clinical and educational needs of customers.
+ Designs, develops and implements quality education programs.
+ Actively participates in the communication of concepts and ideas designed to benefit customer support and educational efforts. .
+ Responsible for providing technical and clinical support to customers.
+ Coordinates and assists with the training of all centers in an assigned geographical region.
+ Maintains contact with customers to assess clinical and educational needs.
+ Evaluates customer needs and recommends appropriate product modifications.
+ Creates, maintains, and updates educational materials.
+ Assists in the promotion of the Abbott Heart Failure products to prospective clients in cooperation with the marketing team.
+ Evaluates product viability and planned product improvements and modifications.
+ Completes clinical reports as requested by management, and completes all additional documentation requested by management in a timely basis.
+ Protects and acts responsibly towards all company equipment and confidential information.
**Requirements:**
+ University degree (preferred in a medical discipline)
+ Commercial experience in the the medical industry (experience in the Cardiac care industry would be an additional asset)
+ Min 3 years with progressively responsible sales experience or project management in a complex matrix environment.
+ Proven competency as a Therapy Development Specialist or similar role.
+ Previous experience within the VAD industry is desirable.
+ Previous experience in clinical publications and group presentations is desirable.
+ Candidate must be highly motivated, have excellent written and verbal communications skills, great desire to help others, composed under stressful situations and well organized.
+ Computer literacy required.
+ Fluency in English is a must (written and spoken), Native Polish
+ Driving License, Willingness to travel (70% of the time).
