The Opportunity
This position works out of our Almaty or Astana location in the Abbott Vascular division.
As the Therapy Development Manager CIS, you’ll lead strategy and execution of therapy development initiatives across the CIS region, with a focus on advanced interventional cardiology solutions, including intravascular imaging, coronary physiology, vessel closure, and orbital atherectomy.
This regional role is pivotal in driving therapy adoption, clinical education, and sustainable market development in close partnership with Marketing, Medical, and distributor teams.
What You’ll Do
• Develop and execute regional therapy development strategies across interventional cardiology portfolios, including intravascular imaging, coronary physiology, vessel closure, and orbital atherectomy.
• Partner closely with regional distributors to drive therapy adoption, support execution excellence, and ensure alignment with regional strategy and compliance standards.
• Lead and support training and education programs for healthcare professionals, including workshops, case-based discussions, and hands-on clinical education.
• Provide therapy support, clinical insights, and procedural guidance in collaboration with physicians and distributor teams.
• Collaborate with Medical, Marketing, and distributor teams to support new product launches, portfolio prioritization, and lifecycle management.
• Engage and develop relationships with key external stakeholders, including interventional cardiologists, cath lab teams, scientific societies, and regional thought leaders.
Key Requirements:
• Relevant educational background: molecular sciences, bioengineering, medical, or pharmaceutical.
• Over 3 years’ experience in sales
• Distributor Management knowledge
• Hospital Account management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Agile, proactive mindset
• Fluent English
