The Division of Idaho Care Facilities has an opportunity for aTherapist (BCBA)with the Developmental Disabilities Crisis Prevention and Court Services Team in the North Hub (Coeur d’ Alene or Lewiston). This position will provide assessment and multifaceted rehabilitative services to clients, families, and community and department staff. We are seeking applicants who have experience providing crisis services in correctional, hospital, institutional, and community-based settings of both voluntary and involuntary clients. This position requires an individual to be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. Some travel will be required throughout Idaho with some overnight. This position may be eligible for telework after successful completion of probation and necessary training. Approval to telecommute is not guaranteed and subject to termination at any time. The Idaho Department of Health & Welfare is a drug-free workplace. Below is preferred experience. It is not required for the position but applicants with this experience may receive consideration over other applicants. + Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities . Typically gained by at least one year of related professional experience. + Some knowledge of court procedures and practices . Typically gained by completion of related college course work or at least one year of professional experience that required working with court systems. + Good knowledge of mental health and developmental disability social services/support services . Typically gained by at least one year of related professional experience that required knowledge of available resources and services.
