+ Position: Therapist
+ Location: Kernersville, NC
+ Department: Bariatric Clinic
+ Employment Type: Full Time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
💼 Key Responsibilities
+ Autonomous Practice : Manage your own schedule and treatment decisions; no referral required to initiate care.
+ Therapeutic Services : R esponsible for comprehensive, psychosocial and behavioral assessments of patients pursuing medical and surgical weight management pathways .
+ Collaborative Care : Work alongside physicians and other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans.
+ Cultural Competence : Deliver services that are sensitive to the age and cultural diversity of the populations served.

🎓 Qualifications
+ Education : Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
+ Experience : Minimum of three years in a clinical setting.
+ Licensure : Current licensure as an LPC, LCSW, Clinical Psychologist, or PMHCNS.
+ Additional Certifications : For those working with substance use populations, LCAS or CCS is preferred.
+ Training : Completion of NC state-approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire (facility-specific).

Qualifications
+ Education: Graduate Degree, required. Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field, required.
+ Experience: Minimum of three years experience, required.
+ Licensure/Certification:
+ Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor or Clinic Phd/PsyD level Psychologist, required.
+ For the Substance Use Therapist role, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist or Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate with above required license, preferred.
+ NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire. Team members in strictly remote positions are exempt. Team members working strictly in behavioral health outpatient clinics are exempt from state approved curricula but are required to take NEC0170 De-escalation Techniques and Effective Communication Strategies within 3 months of hire, required.
+ Additional Skills Required: Good working knowledge of computers. Ability to care for Behavioral Health Age Specific populations.
