Therapeutic Coach Team Lead
START (Systemic, Therapeutic, Assessment, Resources, and Treatment) employ a positive approach to build upon an individual’s strengths to fortify experiences, ambition, character, and abilities. These services promote person-centered approaches and training for persons, families, and caregivers using positive approaches and other therapeutic tools. The Therapeutic Coach Team Leader is responsible for the supervision of therapeutic coaches and will ensure that crisis support, implementation of support plans and activities and linkages are effectively provided for individuals with a developmental disability and behavioral health needs. Responsibilities: Provide supervision to therapeutic coaches including performance evaluations, mentoring, scheduling, and problem solving.  Assign and monitor therapeutic coach caseloads ensuring adherence to program guidelines, and ethical standards. Conduct regular team meetings to discuss participant progress, challenges, and best practices. Conduct initial assessments and develop therapeutic plans of support to participants in distress to stabilize them in their environment Implement in accordance with the Cross-Systems Crisis Prevention Intervention Plans (CSCPIP) strategies including behavioral support, skills development, and crisis management.  Work with START therapeutic Coach (STC) to provide coaching and education for family and support staff on positive, effective support strategies. Ensure that electronic medical records and daily data input are maintained/timely as prescribed in START Information Reporting System (SIRS) along with JEVS Human Services’ EMR. Continued assessment of biopsychosocial factors that may contribute to crisis. Perform additional responsibilities as requested and/or necessary, including supporting alternate locations when assigned
