Job Description
The Testing Technician will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing production products. This role involves installing firmware and testing branded products within a production line setting. The position requires expertise in electronic components and the ability to troubleshoot nonconforming products to the component level.
6am to 2:30pm
$28 - $31/hr
ResponsibilitiesPerform testing on equipment such as analog, digital, video, logic circuits, components, and instruments.Measure power, signal, and temperature accurately.Review test results with staff and make recommendations on repair, maintenance, and refinement of equipment.Conduct production-line testing, troubleshooting to the component level, and firmware installation.Operate basic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, current clamps, and Hi-Pot machines.Read schematics and troubleshoot circuit boards and units to the component level.Perform soldering and crimping tasks.Essential Skills3-5 years of experience in testing electrical components.Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics.Experience with thru-hole and circuit board testing.Ability to troubleshoot using oscilloscopes, DMMs, and Hi-Pot machines.Knowledge of transformers, diodes, and transistors.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Tele Com products, including Network and Industrial firmware installation.Computer network experience and bench testing capabilities.Calibration and high voltage testing proficiency.Ability to handle complex issues and provide leadership and mentoring to junior technicians.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
