As part of our Global Delivery Services, you will be part of a technology organization that develops and maintains innovative Life and Annuities solutions for our client in supporting technology in COTS platforms to improve testing approach and enhance customer satisfaction.
Skillset Description
A strong academic record including a B.E/B.tech/MCA/M.Sc level or equivalent IT related degree QA accreditation (ISTQB Foundation, LOMA or a similar IT accreditation from a recognised third level institution or accreditation body) Have a minimum of 6 to 12 years of experience in full time Life and Annuities, Property & Casualty (Auto, Homeowner, Umbrella etc.) functional testing roles, with a good portion of it primarily on the L&A domain. Should have working experience in various Annuities LOB such as Index-linked annuities, fixed and variable annuities, fixed indexed annuities, income annuities, etc (Primary and Must-Have) Should have working experience in various Life LOB’s such as Term Life, permanent Life including universal life, indexed universal life, whole life, and variable universal life (Primary and Must-Have) Should have expertise working in various Life and Annuities industry COTS technology platforms (Primary and Must-Have) Should have domain expertise working in Life and Annuities End-to-End starting from Illustration, New Business , policy and claims administration and downstream applications Functional Value-chain (Primary and Must-Have) Working experience in Property & Casualty Insurance domain on industry recognized admin platforms is a secondary expectation and a great-to-have. Should have expertise and experience in test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, Zephyr, Xray, Confluence tools (Must-Have) Hands-on experience in Test Automation Framework in Selenium, Java based Framework (Good to Have). Hands-on experience in API testing, ETL/Data testing (Good to Have). Should be familiar in DevOps frameworks in Cloud (Good to Have) Should be Team player with Team Leading experience Should has experience in Stakeholders management Should have strong communication skills.
Job Description
Should have hands-on proficiency in functional test strategy and test plan preparations, test design and test case preparations, test data management and test execution of in-sprint, System integration Testing, End-to-End testing, Regression and Smoke testing aligned to L&A functional end-to-end value-chains workflows and business functions Should be able to support and perform User acceptance testing Should be able to coordinate and reporting on testing delivery activities across the owned delivery workstreams Should be responsible for contributing to the delivery of IT Projects through methodologies such as Agile Scrum/Kanban and traditional Waterfall (when required) Create high-quality work products and act as a subject matter resource, leveraging knowledge and experience to shape services to client problems Should be able to demonstrate the client on the Functional value-adds by bringing in the Point-solutions and accelerators Have prior experience of directly interacting with client Subject Matter expertise, Business Analysts, and relevant stakeholders Should be able to design and run Automation Tests at basic level Should be familiar with code reviews, design patterns, and implementing best practices in functional testing Have structured approach to problem solving and be a self-starter with the ability to work independently managing own workload with an attention to detail.
