Responsibilities:
Lead a team of engineers to develop and create all required on-site test plans, procedures and test cases
Organize and plan work to maximize utilization of resources
Organize and control the work undertaken by staff and contractors allocated and to ensure that it is carried out safely
Testing of the Communications Systems
Managing the personal safety and the administration of allocated staff and contractors
Ensure that the briefing of instructions to staff under his/her control or allocated to him/her for such purpose is carried out timely
Production and execution of a testing plan and certification documentation for Client handover
Checking and certifying testing activities
Requirements:
Individuals who meet the following requirements or possess the equivalent combination of competence and experience are invited to apply:
University graduate in Engineering related disciplines
At least 10 years’ experience in Communications Systems
Significant experience in railway Testing is required
Significant experience in supervising staff is required
Fully conversant with all current testing practices, Testing Standards, Health and Safety legislation and standards is required
Experience in Brownfield environment and with Communications systems is an added advantage
Possess excellent communications skills, assertive, influential and work as directed
Work involves night shifts when required by operational circumstances
Excellent communication skills in English
