Job Title: Salesforce Manual Tester – Field Service (FSL)

Experience Range:

Total Experience: 3+ years in manual software testing

Salesforce Testing Experience: At least 2+ years (preferably including Field Service Lightning)

Hiring Location:

Primary: Hyderabad/Chennai/Kochi/Trivandrum/Bangalore/Kolkata/Noida/Pune

Must Have Skills: Manual Testing Expertise:

Minimum 3+ years of experience in manual testing of Salesforce applications

Proficient in creating and executing manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, integration, regression, system testing)

Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, HP ALM)

Experience in SOQL/SOSL for data validation and verification

Salesforce Platform Knowledge:

Hands-on experience testing Salesforce Field Service (FSL) application

Work Order Management

Service Appointment Scheduling

Dispatch Console

Inventory Consumption

Testing experience across Salesforce Clouds like Sales Cloud and Service Cloud

Familiarity with Salesforce mobile application testing, especially offline features and data sync

Agile Methodology:

Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams

Participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives

Communication & Collaboration:

Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and admins

Excellent communication skills for reporting test results and raising defects

Good to Have Skills:

Salesforce Field Service Consultant Certification

Salesforce Administrator Certification

ISTQB/ISEB Certification or equivalent testing certifications

Familiarity with other Salesforce Clouds (e.g., Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud)

Exposure to Salesforce automation tools such as:

Selenium

Provar

TOSCA

Katalon

Key Responsibilities:

Design, write, and execute comprehensive manual test plans and test cases

Test FSL mobile application functionality across various devices and platforms (including offline mode and sync)

Perform functional testing on core FSL processes such as:

Work orders

Service appointments

Dispatching and scheduling

Inventory transactions

Execute functional, integration, regression, and system testing

Log, track, and manage defects using tools like Jira

Work closely with developers and business stakeholders to understand requirements

Validate data using SOQL/SOSL queries

Perform sanity checks on test environments before testing cycles

Assist in the creation of training materials and user documentation

Contribute to continuous process improvement in the QA team

Mentor junior testers, when required
