This Position reports to:

Supervisor (Production)

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist the Quality team in implementing and maintaining a quality system, including conducting audits, establishing controls, training on tools and methodologies. Each day, you will support activities related to quality management within the organizational unit. You will also showcase your expertise by reporting quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and customer cases and maintaining process documentation.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Safety

Understands and follows plant safety and proceduresAvoid or prevent hazardous conditions from developingWears appropriate protective equipment as required, dresses and conducts self in a safe mannerKeeps work area clean and orderly and maintains Lean 5SParticipates in plant safety objectives

Job Functions

Responsible for all aspects of testing product to standards, i.e. work instructions, S.O.P’s, and revision control.Ensures quality operation of the process, performs quality checks and controls, including adherence to cleaning and maintenanceMust maintain pre-determined efficiency, standards and productivity ratesPrepares and maintains accurate production records and follows SOP’s

Education and Experience

High School diploma/GED is requiredPrior manufacturing experience or quality control experience PreferredAbility to lift to 40lbs and perform push/pull functionsCan work overtime to meet Business ObjectivesCan work a weekend schedule as needed.

Skills and/or Training

Ability to read and understand various written instructions in EnglishBend, twist & turn in a safe mannerLift up to 40 PoundsStand for long periodsGood hand dexterityAbility to speak and write in clear English communicationsStrong math skills
