For our office in Dordrecht, The Netherlands, we are looking for a:
Testbench Supervisor (m/f)
(Fulltime | 40 hours)
As Testbench Supervisor, you ensure an efficient, safe, and well-organized testing process for engines and generator sets on the test bench. You lead the daily activities of the test team in a hands-on role, coordinating execution, quality, and safety.
You work closely with Engineering, Logistics, Quality Control, and Project Management, and act as the primary point of contact during customer-attended tests, ensuring testing runs according to plan and expectations.
In this role, you will:
Lead and coordinate daily testbench activities for engines and generator sets in line with project planning and priorities
Define, monitor, and enforce test procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations
Actively participate in testing activities and support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), including customer-attended tests
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders during test execution
Drive continuous improvement of test processes, tools, and team capabilities through hands-on leadership
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field (HBO or equivalent work experience)
Proven experience in testing engines, generators, or industrial drive systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and test protocols
Hands-on, practical mindset with strong technical insight
Capable of guiding, motivating, and supporting colleagues without formal line management responsibility
Knowledge of safety and quality standards (FAT/SAT, ISO, CE) is an advantage
Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written
