Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to engineers for continuous improvement of extrusion processes on the production floor
Troubleshoot extrusion processes to improve cycle-time, yield, cost, quality, and safety
Operate extrusion machinery and related line equipment, execute validation runs, and report results in required format
Train new operators on extrusion line setup and operation
Work in compliance with production and operations procedures and processes
Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain extrusion equipment and systems
Work from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions
Requirements:
Experience with extrusion processing, tooling, and equipment
Ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot extrusion machinery
Experience with thermoplastic resins and compounds
Basic math skills and ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Preferred Skills:
Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing environments
Knowledge of validation protocols and process reporting in extrusion operations
Familiarity with training production operators in equipment setup and operation
Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
