Test Technician - Hiring Asap

We are seeking a qualified Test Technician to join our growing team. Test Technician's will conduct a variety of electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical tests on systems, subassemblies, and parts to ensure functionality according to specifications or to determine the cause of unit failure.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, (5:30am - 4:00pm) OR (6:00am - 4:30pm)

Key Responsibilities:

Read test schedules, work orders, test manuals, performance specifications, wiring diagrams, and schematics to determine testing procedures and equipment.Test functional performance of systems, subassemblies, and parts under specified environmental conditions such as temperature change, vibration, pressure, and humidity.Calibrate test instruments according to specifications.Read dials or digital displays indicating electronic characteristics such as voltage, frequency, distortion, inductance, and capacitance.Analyze test results on defective units to determine the cause of failure.Confer with engineers, technicians, production team, and others regarding testing procedures and results to resolve problems.Devise test equipment setups to evaluate performance and operation of nonstandard or customer-returned units.

Qualifications:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, test procedures, equipment manuals, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Fluent in English (reading and writing).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
