Our client is seeking a Test Technician in San Jose, CA. As a Test Technician, your main responsibility will be to make sure products meet quality standards and function properly. To meet quality standards, you will monitor, assemble, improve, and manipulate a product to ensure it is in no way defective. You will utilize our equipment and test procedures while testing our products. Collaboration with other Technicians and Engineers is needed to perform regular duties.

Responsibilities Include:
· Perform the most problematic tasks associated with the test and debug trouble analysis and/or repair of test fixtures for all test stations.
· Assist Test Engineer in setting up test area and methods.
· Work from and interpreting basic schematics, logical drawings, test procedures, prints, sketches or verbal instructions.
· Write and/or assist Test Engineers in writing new test procedures.
· Recommend new methods or changes in test methods or equipment for efficient and economic testers, sub-assemblies or modules.
· Prepare verbal or written reports of tests and work performed.
· Train manufacturing operator or technician how to operate all the testers on the manufacturing floor.
· Maintain all the tester equipment on the manufacturing floor.
