Test Technician

Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a Test Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Test Technician

Location: Peabody, MA (Relocation to Salem, NH)

Pay Range: $28-$32 (Based on skills and experience)

Shift: 9/80 schedule, Flexible start time from 6am-7am, Monday to Thursday 9 hours a day, and every other Friday off. 

What's the Job?

Conduct electro-mechanical and systems-level testing to ensure compliance with specifications. Verify, calibrate, and troubleshoot standard and non-standard subassemblies or systems. Utilize essential testing equipment such as digital multimeters (DMM), oscilloscopes, and signal generators. Interpret technical documentation and schematics to guide troubleshooting efforts. Diagnose and resolve performance issues at the component level efficiently.

What's Needed?

At least 2 years of relevant experience in testing and troubleshooting. Familiarity with essential testing equipment, including digital multimeters (DMM), oscilloscopes, frequency counters, voltmeters, and signal generators, is required. Ability to troubleshoot non-complex circuits (down to the component level). Proficiency in basic computer skills, particularly in Excel. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical documentation accurately.
