POSITION PURPOSE
Job Description
Sets & performs product tests utilizing established procedures and equipment, instrument. Records data and prepares test reports. Job requires the assembly and disassembly of power tools. Provide routine maintenance for test equipment. Identify the issues came from test facilities or the tested tools Responsible of correct set up tool and correct function of test rings before to start testing. Report bad function of test rings. Follow correct FIFO of engineering projects. BOM interpretation Drawing interpretation Must be flexible and adapt to changing departmental prioritiesWork with EHS for improvementsFollow scrap ProcessHighly motivated individual provides test support to the new product development & development to value projects.Writes and upgrades technical procedures maintained in the technical database at B&D intranet.Staff Management if apply.Help to training process and crate deephow material.Create and maintain under control test lab metrics, Security, Quality, Delivery, Cost and production of ABR, LIFE, Battery, Motors, Teardown, Incoming, Maintenance, and new products.MAIN ACTIVITIES
The Test Technician reviews day by day the correct process in the configuration, follows the correct FIFO and priorities of the engineering projects, maintains the correct flow of tests, participates in the development of new tests, new equipment and maintenance.
REQUIREMENTS
Education required:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required. Minimum of 4 years technical experience in product testing, reliability, quality or product design discipline with electro-mechanical devices. Experience in leading people and/or projects DMAIC effectively. Basic ability to read & write English; spoken English is preferred ESD
Work experience required:
Ability to use standard electrical and mechanical measuring instruments. Ability to work with verbal directions and written procedures Good work attitude & ethic, team-work. GTN knowledge. Windchill skills. BOM interpretation. Drawing interpretation. PLC skills Pneumatic and Hydraulic knowledge Electronic Sensors Knowledge
Skills required:
ISO 9001/ISO17025: Quality and EHS Policies.ISO 14001: Water Conservation, Segregation, Aspect & Impact, Contamination and control ground prevention, Energy ConservationISO 45001: Hazardous & Risk Matrix, Emergency Evacuation Plan, Personal Protective Equipment, Hazardoussubstances (Use and handling); Signal and color codes.

Comply with SBD's confidentiality regulations, which includes all information used within the Test Center, understanding by this, procedures, reports, new products, test plans, images or photographs taken within the SBD facilities and/or any information of an intrinsic nature to the laboratory.It is mandatory of all Stanley Black & Decker employees, take all the ethics, conduct and compliance trainings as well as to maintain and follow all the guidelines established.
RESPONSABILITIES
Test Technician is responsible for supervising day to day activities in the test lab. This includes giving direction to the team group, In addition, this role will be leading the effort in continuously upgrading test capabilities and data collection through integration of new technologies and new test

Develop test reports or necessary analysis within the Test center. Approval of T.E, Vacations, necessary permits for Op.
