Test Technician responsible for executing test procedures, documenting system performance, and supporting lab operations for robotic-assisted surgery systems.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Vocational or technical education or certification may be required
Ability to document system performance and usage
Ability to diagnose system failures, isolate, reset, or replace faulty components
Fundamental understanding of computers with basic networking and upgrade experience
Preferred Skills:
3+ years of technician experience in the medical device or regulated industry
Ability to create accurate diagrams and document equipment configurations
Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products
Basic knowledge of circuit boards and electronics
Understanding of hardware/software interactions, communications, and troubleshooting
Experience with purchasing, tracking, and receiving equipment
Experience assembling office and electronic equipment
Experience supporting lab maintenance activities
Experience setting up, running, and executing test procedures
Job Responsibilities:
Execute test methods and simulated procedures on robotic surgical systems
Document system performance and communicate hardware/software issues
Perform simulated bedside assist functions including component positioning and material handling
Perform manual setup, tear down, and cleaning of equipment
Transport equipment throughout the facility and take measurements to assess performance
Conduct emergency simulations and repetitive ergonomic interaction cycles with system controls
Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
