Responsible for conducting mechanical testing, maintaining equipment, and supporting prototype validation activities in a laboratory setting, with a focus on medical hardware applications.
Job Requirements
Experience in a laboratory environment with standard lab equipment
Ability to follow validation protocols and procedures
Proficiency in using hand tools and reading datasheets and schematics
Basic mechanical repair and maintenance skills
Ability to inspect equipment, structures, and materials for compliance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Associate degree or two or more years of college coursework preferred
Preferred Skills
Experience with mechanical testing of prototypes
Familiarity with single-board computers (SBCs)
Exposure to solid modeling tools
Understanding of quality control concepts
Experience with medical devices or regulated hardware environments
Job Responsibilities
Conduct mechanical and functional testing on prototypes to assess performance and reliability
Follow detailed procedures and validation protocols for testing and documentation
Record and analyze test data; contribute to technical reports and memos
Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Inspect and assess materials and components as part of quality evaluation
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to support development efforts

Pay Details: $22.00 to $28.00 per hour
