Siemens Industry, Inc. located in Johnson city, TN is looking to fill a permanent position for a Software/Firmware Test Engineer. You will participate as part of an international project team to develop and release state-of-the-art industrial automation products.

We are looking for a Test Professional. This position will be based in Johnson City, TN. 

Role Description:  

Contributes to the test in relation to the design and implementation of both software and firmware solutions for the Siemens Industry product portfolio.

You will work in an agile development environment in a team focused on delivering effective and robust solutions for our customers.

As part of this team, you will be included in interactions with domestic and international stakeholders.

You must have attention to detail, proficiency in problem solving and the ability to quickly learn new technologies as needed. 

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:  

Basic Qualifications:  

2+ years of experience in C# Expert programming in C# and a willingness to learn Working experience testing firmware for complex runtime embedded environments Practical experience creating moderately complex Object-Oriented designs Excellent attention to detail; strong work ethic, self-motivated Good interpersonal, communications, and teamwork skills Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship 

Preferred Qualifications:  

BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience Practical experience writing new product tests Practical experience in creating automated tests and frameworks Practical experience with S71200 G1 and S71200 G2 control systems Experience or knowledge of the S71500 control systems Practical experience with TIA portal programming package Able to analyze complex technical problems and create tests to verify solutions

The pay range for this position is 67,480 - 115,680 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
