**Introduction** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tester to join our team on a core banking project. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. The Senior Tester will work closely with cross-functional teams from our client side to identify and prioritize testing requirements, develop test plans, and ensure that software applications meet the required quality standards. **Your role and responsibilities** * Design, develop, and execute testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements * Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts * Conduct manual and automated testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and system testing * Identify and report defects and work with development teams to resolve issues * Develop and maintain test data and environments * Collaborate with development teams to ensure that software applications meet the required quality standards * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing * Collaborate with technical leads to integrate the client new core banking system with Temenos Transact (T24) **Required technical and professional expertise** 5+ years of experience in testing in the banking industry * Strong testing experience, including manual and automated testing * Experience with software testing methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum * * Strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing processes * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment * Experience with testing tools and technologies, such as Selenium, Appium, and TestRail * Familiarity with XML and JSON data structure * Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, SVN, etc. * Experience with Issue & Project Tracking Software, such as Jira. * Strong understanding of software testing principles and best practices **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) * Experience with cloud-based testing tools and technologies * Experience with agile and Scrum methodologies (Certified CSM) * Certification in software testing, such as ISTQB or CSTE IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
