Test Manager – ETL & Snowflake
**About the role** **As a Test Manager – ETL & Snowflake,** you will make an impact by leading end-to-end testing initiatives across data platforms, ensuring high-quality deliverables through strategic planning and execution. You will be a valued member of the Data & Analytics Quality Engineering team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, project stakeholders, and client partners. **In this role, you will:** • Lead project planning sessions and define test strategies for data and API testing initiatives. • Author and implement comprehensive data test strategies aligned with business goals. • Estimate testing efforts, identify resource needs, and manage test execution timelines. • Facilitate UAT cycles, including defect triage meetings and closure tracking. • Drive quality assurance across ETL pipelines, Snowflake data warehouses, and Power BI dashboards. **Work model:** We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2–3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Boston, MA. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations. **What you need to have to be considered** • 15+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on data and API testing. • Proven expertise in ETL testing, Snowflake, and Power BI dashboard validation. • Strong SQL skills for data validation and transformation testing. • Proficiency in test management tools and methodologies. • Experience in test automation and data testing tools. • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale testing projects and cross-functional teams. **These will help you stand out** • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results. • Experience facilitating UAT and working closely with business stakeholders. • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and continuous integration practices. **Salary and Other Compensation:** The annual salary for this position is between $71,100 - $112,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
