Test Lead with Application Dev for Embedded Systems,testing

Job Summary
The Test Lead will be responsible for leading the testing activities related to automotive hardwareintheloop (HIL) testing, Embedded System testing, and overall testing processes. The role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of automotive software and embedded systems through effective testing strategies. (1.) Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate with cross functional teams to define testing requirements and strategies for embedded systems applications.
2. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for automotive software applications.
3. Lead defect tracking and resolution processes to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
4. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on testing best practices and methodologies.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate testing status, issues, and risks effectively.
6. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive testing technologies and methodologies.

Skill Requirements
1. Solid understanding of automotive hil testing methodologies and hands-on experience with related tools
2. Solid knowledge with hands-on experience of testing techniques and methodologies in an automotive environment
3. Extensive experience and solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools
4. Good analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot defects.
5. Extensive experience is effectively communicating and guiding testing teams, as well as collaborating with stakeholders
6. Detail oriented approach to ensure thorough testing coverage and accurate defect tracking.
7. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Certifications: ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level or Advanced Level is preferred.
