Danfoss Power Solutions is seeking a motivated and hands-on Hydraulics Technician to join our engineering team in Plymouth, Minnesota. This role supports testing and development of hydraulic components and systems used in off-highway and industrial equipment. You’ll work closely with engineers and technicians to conduct R&D tests of prototype and existing hydraulic components. Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic test stands and fixtures. Job Responsibilities Set up and conduct hydraulic product validation tests per internal procedures and industry standards, including: Performance and efficiency testing Endurance and life-cycle testing Pressure cycle and burst testing Maintain accurate documentation of test setups, system configurations, and procedures. Assist with assembly, modification, and maintenance of hydraulic test stands and fixtures. Perform regular lab maintenance and participate in 5S and safety initiatives. Collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot issues and improve processes. Follow lab safety protocols and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Associate’s degree (AAS) in Fluid Power, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field. Mechanical aptitude with basic understanding of hydraulic systems and components. Strong hands-on skills and comfort working with tools and mechanical equipment. Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with hydraulic test equipment and troubleshooting. Familiarity with pressure gauges, flow meters, and data acquisition tools. Previous lab, shop, or field service experience in a technical setting. Organized, dependable, and proactive with a continuous improvement mindset. Benefits
