**Job Summary:**
The Test Equipment Engineering team is seeking a Manager, Electrical Engineer who can lead a section of Electrical Engineering professionals responsible for all elements of Engineering Design through all lifecycles to include but not limited to development, transition to production, design verification, qualification, and Manufacturing Acceptance of final product going to the customer.
The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) team within the Hardware Engineering Discipline is a multi-discipline organization responsible for developing advanced windows application solutions for all Raytheon products. We are hands-on, designers using the latest technology and tools, and integrating state-of-the-art software solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world. TEE products are in engineering labs, in the field, and in production environments utilized for weapon system products. **This role will be on-site in Tucson, AZ**
**What You Will Do:**
+ Supervise and lead a team of approximately 10-20 section members.
+ The Section Lead role is anticipated to be approximately 15% of the work week, with the remainder of the work week charged to program contracts, within the TEE organization.
+ Conducts formal and informal performance reviews and career development discussions with team members.
+ Leads by example, adheres to, and ensures alignment with Raytheon Values and Behaviors.
+ Establishes meaningful and measurable goals and communicates effectively with their team to ensure alignment with the department and center.
+ Design, develop, and integrate Raytheon test products within TEE in multidiscipline engineering teams
+ Develop both engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis
+ Contribute to the completion of all stages of test product development, and responsible for performing technical, cost and schedule management of assigned projects
+ Act, either as a part of the team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test products
+ Drive solutions that work in a field test environment or automation production environment with test solutions that have thermal and vibration testing capabilities
+ Work within a multidiscipline engineering team environment
+ Interact and engage with Engineering, Operations Managers, Operations PTEs, Directorate leads, Program Leaders and Functional leaders to drive EE test solution readiness and robustness
+ Supports Test Equipment Engineering program hiring goals as well as leads the onboarding of new section personnel.
+ Mentor junior and mid-career electrical engineers
**Qualifications You Must Have**
+ Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and eight (8) years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and five (5) years of relevant experience
+ Experience with electrical engineering design to include troubleshooting, analysis, and test
+ Experience with commonly used electrical engineering design and analysis tools including but not limited to: Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic
+ Experience with commonly used test equipment including but not limited to: Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Network Analyzers, Power Meters
+ Experience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics
+ Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
+ Ability to obtain additional Program Area(s) accesses.
+ Experience in a technical leadership role.
+ Experience presenting to leadership and peers.
**Qualifications We Value:**
+ Previous experience with career development and personal skills development of team members
+ Working understanding of the TEE One Page Process.
+ Past engineering experience working in a matrix organization comprised of multidiscipline design teams across multiple projects with rigorous design disciplines
+ Knowledge of the Performance Development Process.
+ Experience with our Proposal Capture Process (development of compliant Basis of Estimates, and White Sheet Development).
+ Proficient technical writing and formal presentation experience
+ Experience with the Estimate at Complete (EAC) process and Engineering Labor Forecasting (ELF) System.
+ Knowledge with business and program improvements through process improvement methodologies.
+ Development of integration, verification, and validation planning documentation of integration and test plans, procedures, reports, status reports, and other related documentation.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
