Test Engineering Technician

Summary: Seeking a Test Engineering Technician Level 2 to conduct environmental testing of aerospace mechanisms and assist in process improvements.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant experience

Familiarity with aerospace assembly and inspection tools

Experience assisting with writing technical work instructions for Environmental Testing

Understanding of quality management systems such as AS9100

Manual dexterity for handling small parts

Preferred Skills:

Experience in an Aerospace cleanroom environment

Understanding of advanced electronic circuitry

Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities:

Perform environmental tests including static load, thermal vacuum, shock, and vibration

Operate spaceflight hardware using data acquisition systems

Attach and remove components on spaceflight hardware

Inspect mechanical and electrical components post-test

Maintain test fixtures and generate ideas for process improvements

Pay: 30-34

Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
