**Description:**
You will be the Test Engineering Manager for the production facility located in Lufkin, Texas\. Our team is responsible for leading a growing team of over forty Test Engineers and Technicians to ensure successful execution of production contracts\.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the Test Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team that tests electrical assemblies, conducts failure investigations, maintains test equipment, and leads yield improvement initiatives\. You will also develop and maintain functional processes, ensure proper housekeeping and safety practices, and serve on the Lufkin Operations Senior Leadership staff\.
Your responsibilities will include:
+ Leading a team of Test Engineers and Technicians to test electrical assemblies and conduct failure investigations
+ Developing and maintaining functional processes and ensuring proper housekeeping and safety practices
+ Talent recruiting, management, and development, including performance differentiation and recognition
+ Serving on the Lufkin Operations Senior Leadership staff to develop site strategy and drive affordability
+ Executing the site excellence plan and developing business continuity plans

**Basic Qualifications:**
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline\.
Familiar with common electrical test instruments\.
Previous leadership experience\.
Familiar with electric circuit fundamentals\.
MUST BE A U\.S\. CITIZEN \- This position is located at a facility that requires special access\. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance\.
**Desired Skills:**
Previous experience leading large teams\.
Overhead budget management\.
Capital project execution\.
Lean Six Sigma training\.
Automated test equipment experience\.
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
