Location: Plymouth, MN in office 5 days per week

Timeline: This Internship opportunity is for May-August 2026

Essential Responsibilities:

You will own your own project(s) with support from the Test Engineering team

Day-to-day work will include:

Contribute to technical project plans for new or upgrades to existing test equipment

Act as a technical resource for troubleshooting issues with test cells, instrumentation, data acquisition software, and test units

Develop HVAC and technical expertise

Collaborate cross-functionally with test technicians and product engineers to accomplish testing

Minimum Qualifications:

Sophomore or Junior currently enrolled in an accredited degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related major

Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with data acquisition, instrumentation, and NI LabVIEW

Formal coursework in the areas of measurement systems, heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, machine design, and/or strength of materials

GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, preferred 3.5 or better

Reside within a 300-mile radius of our Plymouth, MN office

The typical hourly pay rate for this position is $24/hr - $30/hr. This represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
