For the Test Engineer - NVH role, we are looking for an individual with experience in noise testing, preferably in the automotive or tire industry. You will be responsible for tire testing with regards to interior vehicle noise as well as exterior vehicle tire noise testing.
Prepare, conduct, and report results of vehicle interior noise testing with respect to tire fitment, which will require conducting testing while operating the vehicle, and exterior vehicle tire noise testingCoordinate and present test findings to internal and external customersPlan and prepare testing with technicians on-site and external teams when testing off-siteConduct testing according to global legal standards or OE test requirements when applicableDevelop and continuously update test methodologyMaintain test equipment functionality and calibrations in accordance to internal and regulatory requirementsConduct testing according to weather and customer timing which will require adaptability for work day start times and travel to other test locationsQualificationsWHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Automotive, or ElectricalMinimum 2 years experience in automotive or noise testingAbility to conduct testing while operating a vehicleProficiency with ArtemiS, B&K, Muller BBM, or similar NVH data acquisition softwareExcellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technicians as well as internal and external customersAbility to organize test schedule to meet of internal and external customers Strong independent work ethic especially when testing off-siteWillingness to relocate to Uvalde, Texas, and travel as required for the role (less than 10% of the time)Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
