**Job Description** We are seeking for a motivated Entry-Level Hardware Test Engineer to join our dynamic, multi-disciplinary team supporting the US Navy s Aircraft Launch and Recovery system. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to mission-critical projects, working in a rapid development environment alongside engineers and production staff from both BAE and government technical teams. The role involves hands-on testing of electrical hardware from component to system level, with travel required for system installation, operation verification, testing, and certification. Key Responsibilities: Gather product requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and procedures for electrical, mechanical, and software systems Execute testing activities, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and communicate test results clearly and effectively Design and build automated testing systems to enhance efficiency and reliability Create and maintain thorough technical documentation in compliance with Quality Management Systems Collaborate closely with engineers, production staff, and technical teams from both BAE and government partners Travel to project sites for system installation, verification, testing, and certification as needed This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
