Test Engineer- Early Career

The susscessful candidate will: • Perform functional, performance, and environmental tests on electronic components and assemblies\. • Assist in developing test procedures, test plans, and documentation for new and existing products\. • Operate and maintain lab/test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and multimeters\. • Record and analyze test data to identify trends, issues, or performance concerns\. • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions related to test failures or product defects\. • Work closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve technical issues\. • Maintain detailed and accurate test records, logs, and reports\. • Follow safety and ESD protocols in the lab environment\. **Basic Qualifications:** • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field\. • 0–2 years of experience in electronics testing or related role \(internships/co\-ops acceptable\)\. • Basic understanding of analog and digital circuit principles\. • Familiarity with reading schematics, datasheets, and test documentation\. • Hands\-on experience with electronic test equipment in a lab or academic setting\. • Good troubleshooting and analytical skills\. • Clear written and verbal communication skills\. • Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting\. Must be a US Citizen\. **Desired Skills:** • Experience with automated test systems or scripting languages \(e\.g\., Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB\)\. • Exposure to PCB\-level debugging and soldering/rework techniques\. • Knowledge of product compliance testing \(EMC, safety, thermal\)\. • Familiarity with manufacturing test processes and test fixtures\. • Understanding of industry standards \(IPC, ISO, MIL\-STD, etc\.\)\. **Clearance Level:** None **Other Important Information You Should Know** **Expression of Interest:** By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\.
