Test Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Test Engineer to lead spacecraft testing campaigns, develop test setups, and coordinate efforts for product development.

Requirements:

B.S. Degree in Engineering or related discipline required. Minimum of 12 years of experience with a Bachelor's, 10 years with a Master's, or 7 years with a PhD. Experience with Environmental Testing and data processing from tests like vibration, thermal-vacuum, acoustic, and EMI/EMC. Proficiency in metrology and Data Acquisition using manual and electronic equipment. Familiarity with Classical and Computational Analysis techniques.

Preferred Skills:

CAD design experience for mechanical systems. Rapid prototyping methods expertise. Test design and special test equipment development skills. Requirement generation and verification criteria establishment abilities.

Responsibilities:

Develop/manage high-value spacecraft testing campaigns. Identify testing methods, develop test plans/design GSE for risk mitigation/verification/validation/prototype needs. Recommend/implement improvements to testing processes/methodologies. Monitor/maintain test equipment/facility capabilities for testing activities support. Lead/mentor test engineers/technicians; analyze test results/report to stakeholders.

Pay Details: $72.00 to $100.00 per hour
