Test Engineer
Job Title: Test EngineerJob Description We are seeking a Test Engineer who will be responsible for developing and executing test procedures, with a focus on electrical testing in compliance with the IEC-6100 series of EMC tests. The role includes debugging hardware and firmware components, selecting components, and assembling prototypes and engineering tools. Familiarity with AC&DC designs and the ability to use schematics and layout tools for debug purposes are essential. Responsibilities + Develop and execute test procedures. + Conduct electrical testing in compliance with IEC-6100 series of EMC tests. + Debug hardware and firmware components. + Select appropriate components for various applications. + Use AC&DC designs and schematics for debugging purposes. + Handle power supplies and transformers. + Assemble prototypes and engineering tools. Essential Skills + Proficiency in electronics testing, including the use of oscilloscopes and multimeters. + Experience in a regulated environment, with UL/Safety product experience preferred. + Knowledge of high voltage electronics (120 and 240 VAC). + Exposure to LabView and EMC testing. + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. + 4 years of experience in an electronics testing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with agency certifications like UL and TUV. + Exposure to programming languages such as C, C++, and Python. + Experience with automation tools like LabView or similar. + Functional safety testing experience preferred. + Understanding of the IEC-6100 standards. + Familiarity with CE, UL, IEC, and safety validations.
