The Test Engineer, reporting to the Special Products Assembly Supervisor, will use technical and leadership skills in a team environment to apply knowledge of engineering principles and the physical sciences in support of the Mansfield Steam Test Facility and Special Products Assembly department. Duties may include assisting in the development of test fixturing and methodology, pressure relief valve certification and compliance testing, R&D, legacy product support, and new product development.Proven **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Develop expertise in relief valve test methods and participate in continuous improvement of test technology and equipment. + Act as the Mansfield Steam Test Facility and Hydrostatic Pressure Testing Domain Expert for organization. + Coordinate product testing and certification of customer ordered product. + Provide technical feedback and direction to the design and evaluation of new product concepts or legacy product modifications, including conceptualization, design evaluation, analysis, and testing of complex products. + Collaborate with Sales, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain as part of a multi-functional team. + Develop and complete test plans in coordination with internal teams and external customers. + Evaluate experimental data and prepare engineering reports including analysis, conclusions, and recommendations. + Assist with the design, construction, and operation of sophisticated test equipment and automated data acquisition systems. + Develop long-term test schedules that take into account workforce, prototype parts availability, and physical test resource openings. **Who You Are:** You quickly and decisively take action in fact-changing, unexpected situations.
