Test Engineer
**Job Description** As a member of the NGC Integration and Test team, the Test Engineer candidate will be a part of a thriving, dynamic team of test automation developers and IT professionals. The team performs manual tests and develops test automation solutions ensuring our Customer s Simulated Training Environment (STE) System of Systems (SoS) and capabilities perform as required. Many on the job opportunities are available as we strive to develop innovative A3 solutions for testing multiple software architectures and systems to validate functional and non-functional requirements. Responsibilities include evaluation and implementation of automation tools, development and deployment of automated test suites, and provide solutions to streamline business and test processes. The successful candidate will perform manual tests of new capabilities and systems, and develop/modify automated regression tests to ensure delivery of quality products. The ideal candidate has a proven commitment to quality with a solid understanding of test concepts, software architecture, and familiarity of the latest software development methodologies and technologies. The position requires a confident self-starter who needs minimal supervision and able to work with other team members on multiple projects. Delivering results on schedule and strong trouble shooting skills are also requirements for this position. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent degree/technology discipline Various Test Automation concepts and development UI Functional Test Automation Tools / Framework (Selenium WebDriver [Java], Cucumber, Serenity) Microservice / API Testing Tools (Postman/Newman, SoapUI, Swagger) Performance Testing Tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) DSO / CICD, GitLab / GitHub, Jenkins Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, Zephyr SAFe / Agile methodology Windows / Linux basic systems administration **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** Previous experience as a Test Engineer or similar role Familiarity with various testing techniques Hands-on experience with Quality/Test Management Systems Great communication and writing skills with extensive experience in writing Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Reports and PowerPoint presentations Experience gathering and reporting quality metrics to management Experience with implementing test processes, test strategies and test standards Great trouble shooting skills **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $118504 - $201457 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
