Job DescriptionAs part of the Residential Heat Pump development team, you will be responsible for all EMC testing related activities for heat pump appliances and components.
Your contribution to something big:
Test heat pumps and components, including the appliance itself and its interface with the system;
Analyze test data and assess the operational status of heat pumps;
Issue laboratory technical documentation, including reports, procedures, work instructions, and best practices;
Execute in-house EMC certification tests;
Ensure compliance of heat pump products and components with normative and legal requirements;
Organize and execute the test plan defined with the project team for EMC validation and development;
Communicate and advise the wider project team on EMC results and define measures aligned with project targets for cost, time, and quality.
QualificationsWhat distinguishes you:
Education: MsC or PhD in Electronics or Electrical Engineering. Experience: Proven experience working with EMC compliance, testing, measurement and investigation including EMC systems analysis.Know-how: Knowledge on CE marking compliance, EMC related standards and system dependencies;Knowledge on related standards such as EN55014-1, EN55014-2, EN61000-3-2, EN61000-3-3, EN61000-3-11, and EN61000-3-12 is valuable;Valued knowledge on product engineering tools and design reviews.Languages: Good written and verbal communication skills in English.Working Style and Methods: Ability to take responsibility for own work and apply own initiative to finding solutions in a structured way;Problem solving mindset, results oriented and pro-active attitude.Additional InformationWork #LikeABosch includes:
