from 1600 EUR / month + variable part*

Building X | Siemens Xcelerator - Siemens Xcelerator Global

We are looking for test automation engineer for project integrating Tridium Niagara IoT devices  with Building X – suite of cloud applications used by our customers to operate buildings. In this role you will be primarily responsible for testing modules synchronizing building devices with our cloud infrastructure and applications. Devices communicate mainly via BACNet / Modbus protocols, while Building X components use RESTful APIs together with event driven architecture. If you join us, you will be part of multi-national team located in Switzerland, Italy, Slovakia and other locations.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Test Design & Execution

•             Define test cases from acceptance criteria

•             Execute manual tests where automation isn’t feasible

Automation Development

•             Implement and maintain automated test cases

•             Build and manage automated test suites

Collaboration & Reporting

•             Report test results to the development team

•             Track and manage issues effectively

We expect

•             University degree or university student

•             Development background or experience with implementation of automated tests

Mandatory skills:

•             Practical experience with test automation frameworks (e.g. Cypress, Selenium)

•             Working experience with GIT and issue tracking system (JIRA, JAZZ, etc.)

Nice to have skills:

•             ISTQB certification

•             Working experience with SCM (e.g. GIT)

•             Experience with working in agile environment

•             Knowledge of low-level automation protocols (BACNet, Modbus)

Language Requirements:

•             English (B2 minimum)

Personality requirements and skills:

•             Good analytical and problem-solving skills

•             Good written and verbal communication skills
