The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Test Automation Engineer with a background in Selenium, Micro Focus ALM, and UFT to join our NTCSS team in Norfolk Va. In this role, you will play a critical part in team responsible for the modernization of selected applications from our customers in-service product line. You will have a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of these enterprise software products through the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks. Your expertise in Selenium, Micro Focus ALM, and UFT will be instrumental in driving our automation efforts forward. 


Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain a data-driven Test Automation Framework.
• Train team members and author test cases and procedures.
• Develop or assist in creating test plans and conduct various testing types.
• Participate in agile teams for product and feature development.
• Record and report defects, conduct static and dynamic testing, and promote best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, development, and support teams.
To be successful in this assignment you must possess the following: 
- Knowledge and understanding of Test Automation frameworks (Data Driven, Keyword Driven, Behavior Driven Development) and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, Katalon, Appium, SoapUI, TestNG, and JUnit.
- Demonstrated proficiency in programming languages including Python, Java, JavaScript, and shell scripting.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Structured Query Language (SQL) and relational database management systems. 
- Familiarity with Agile Development Methodologies.
- Understanding of Web technologies including Browsers, HTML, HTTP, CSS, DOM manipulation, XML, and JSON.
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with testing business applications and integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Micro Focus Application Lifecycle management (ALM), Unified Functional Testing (UFT) and Selenium.
- Demonstrated understanding of the DevSecOps model and integrating security into all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated Knowledge and experience in performing static and dynamic software test activities.
- Ability to analyze requirements, understand complex interactions and risks to design effective test cases.
- Skilled in creating software test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and test data conditions.
- Knowledge of and experience in mapping test cases to requirements and provide input to generate a requirements traceability matrix.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional members of a software development or systems engineering team.
- Ability to capture test data, analyze test results, troubleshoot problems, identify potential issues, and clearly communicate findings and/or deficiencies.
- Ability to determine test approaches, develop test schedules, and identify risks associated with testing.
- Knowledgeable with shared object repositories, function libraries, and creating reusable actions.
- Working knowledge of version control systems like Subversion (SVN) and Git.
- Working knowledge of an issue and project tracking products, preferably Jira.
 

Qualifications:

Required:
- US Citizen
- Must have an active secret clearance and must be able to obtain a T5 investigation clearance
- Possess a DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification or higher (ex. CompTIA Security+, Network +, CISSP) or capability to obtain within 6 months from hire.
- At least 3 years' experience with software testing and quality assurance in the development of software applications.
- At least 3 years' experience with automated testing with UFT using VB Script.
- At least 2 years' experience with web and Java testing using one or more of the tools-TestNG, Selenium, JUnit, Cucumber, Cypress, Katalon, and Appium.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$98,500-$206,800
