Location: Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL (preferred). This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. The Test Automation Engineer Senior Advisor is responsible for development and oversight of enterprise test automation strategies and functions ensuring the highest quality delivery of systems including; test strategy framework, technical test leadership, standardized test architecture, and associated methodologies and process architecture, test planning for strategic/complex initiatives, test automation strategy, end to end test strategy, and test environment strategy requirements.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Plays a leadership role in the design, development, and implementation of automation components. Establishes automation tools, frameworks and methodology. Mentors staff in testing automation processes. Establishes current automation architectures as business and technical conditions change. Supervises the use of appropriate automation methods to employ to ensure developed products conform to requirements and design. Facilitates review of applications for automation needs and requirements/design quality. Provides consultation to projects and application support groups regarding automation design, development and execution. Understands organizational impacts and trade-offs of automation processes. Plays a leadership role in managing resources from alternate development centers.Minimum Requirements:
Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 7 years of testing automation experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
AI adoption in testing is a plus.Experience coding with Java, Python, and/or SQL.Knowledge of the ATLC (Automation Testing Lifecycle)Experience creating automated test scripts and testing applications using Selenium or comparable tool such as Postman, Appium or Cucumber QA automation experience.Knowledge and experience with API testing using Postman, Newman, Rest Assured, etc.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus.Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Bamboo and qTest is a plus.Health insurance and medical claims knowledge preferred.Quality certification such as CMQ, CQA, CQPA, CQT, CSQE, or CSSBB preferred.For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $103,512 to $179,784Locations: IllinoisIn addition to your salary, Elevance Health offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
